WecSec has been supporting HUK-COBURG's Information Security Officer and his team in all areas of Information Security for many years. Individual tasks through to sub-projects are transferred to WecSec as required, also touching on related topics such as IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) or Business Continuity Management (BCM). Carrying out gap assessments, internal and service provider audits as well as the support during certification audits and comparable tests are an integral part of the collaboration.

WecSec has been supporting the Ultra Tendency Group of Companies as an external CISO (eCISO) in Information Security since 2018. In addition to the path to ISO 27001 certification, the attestation based on the TISAX standard of the German automotive industry was also completed together. In the following years, WecSec took the lead in implementing the topics of Business Continuity Management (according to ISO 22301) and Data Protection (GDPR) within the framework of an Integrated Management System, up to and including a combined certification.

HUK-COBURG Asset Management GmbH (HAM) is the asset manager of HUK-COBURG-Holding AG and is responsible, among other things, for financial portfolio management and investment advice for various investment funds of the HUK companies.
WecSec supports HAM's information security team and accompanied the ISMS introduction through to successful ISO27001 certification, taking BAIT into account. The cooperation will be continued. WecSec continues to advise and support the operation of the ISMS and takes on project tasks in other areas, as well as carrying out internal and accompanying external audits.

It goes without saying that Interwetten holds the necessary official licences and meets all other legal requirements. In addition to comprehensive compliance, this also achieves the goal of offering customers trust and security. A certified information security management system (ISMS) based on the international ISO 27001 standard provides the ideal framework for this. WecSec has supported Interwetten in integrating the operating processes and structures of the various international locations into the ISMS. WecSec also advises the Interwetten Group on the continuous support and further development of the ISMS, provides the CISO, carries out the internal audits and accompanies Interwetten through the certification audits.
